Aja Pearl has been making jewelry since she was a little girl. During that time, she dared to wear her pieces, showing the world her talents but the world was not ready for her talent. So she reverted to making jewelry for her dolls (ie her Barbie dolls). Once Aja grew out of playing with her dolls, she went back to her jewelry making. Years later, as an adult, the desire for jewelry making came back to Aja, when she saw a bowl of buttons. Since then, Aja has constructed jewelry out of buttons, zippers, floor tile, stainless steel cable, etc. Each piece also has a name that describes its personal, unique style, such as "Melody", "Tawny", and "Calavera".
